Sault Stryders Workout for Thursday, July 8, 2010 This week we will be doing one last interval workout before the Miracle Mile (next week is a taper week ... enjoy). Here we go . . . All Runners Option A: Warm up 3 to 4 laps easy jogging 1 x 100m sprint; 1 x 100m jog/walk x 8 4 x 200m with 2 minutes rest or 200m jog Cool down 5 laps easy jogging Option B: Warm up 5 to 7 laps easy jogging 1 x 100m sprint; 1 x 100m jog/walk x 8 7 x 200m with 2 minutes rest or 200m jog Cool down 5 laps easy jogging Option C: Warm up 7 to 9 laps easy jogging 1 x 100m sprint; 1 x 100m jog/walk x 8 10 x 200m with 2 minutes rest or 200m jog Cool down 5 laps easy jogging Reminder of upcoming local events: * Rotaryfest Miracle Mile - Saturday, July 17 * Massey Marathon - Sunday, July 18 * Finnish Festival Fun Run - Sunday, July 25 * St. Joseph Island Triathlon - Saturday, August 14 |
